Problems pasting reference citations into MS Word?

 

With some browsers, when reference citations are displayed and copied, they may appear very faint when pasted into MS Word documents. This problem seems to arise primarily with Internet Explorer, and it is caused when the browser places an HTML image on the clipboard, rather than formatted text.

To solve the problem, when pasting click "Paste Special" or type CTRL-ALT-V,  then select Formatted Text from the menu of options that will appear.
